I
really love sleek and modern bathrooms and when I stumbled across Elf
miniatures, I was happy beyond belief. Not only can you purchase already
assembled items, but you can also purchase kits and assemble them
yourself. Another bonus is that you can have the Elf miniaturists
customize some items for you.
For my bathroom sink, I purchased the modern base-mounted tap/faucet and 2 clear glass vanity bowls. I made the base from basswood and used Elmer's Wood Glue to hold it together. Here is the result:
I also used basswood for the mirror and the mirror itself is from an old eyeshadow kit. The towels were super easy to make. I used infant wash clothes and followed a tutorial by Elizabeth S. at http://studioeminiatures.blogspot.com/2013/03/throwing-in-towel.html.
The lotion and hand soap pumps were extremely easy to make as well, thanks to Pipe Cleaner Crafts B. The tutorial can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kOXBrBGmjxQ.
